Charlie Wysong is an attorney with Hughes Socol Piers Resnick & Dym, Ltd., where he has practiced since 2015. Prior to joining HSPRD, Charlie served as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard Posner of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and worked at Equip for Equality as a Skadden Public Interest Fellow representing students with disabilities in education matters.
Charlie represents whistleblowers in Illinois and around the country. He also counsels individuals on a wide range of employment matters, including whistleblower retaliation. Beyond his qui tam practice, Charlie’s practice includes litigating a wide variety of civil matters related to education law, civil rights, and labor and employment. Charlie is a member of Taxpayers Against Fraud, the leading national public interest organization that combats fraud against the government through public-private partnerships, as well as the Illinois chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association.
Charlie received his law degree from Stanford Law School, where he served as the Editor in Chief of Stanford’s Journal of Civil Rights and Civil Liberties. He received his undergraduate degree in public policy with honors from the University of Chicago.
